CLUB RE-OPENING - UPDATED 28/10/2020

*** THE FOLLOWING WILL BE REVIEWED SHOULD THE LOCAL COVID ALERT LEVEL FOR ALL OR PART OF LINCOLNSHIRE MOVE TO 'HIGH' OR 'VERY HIGH' AND THE CLUB MIGHT CLOSE UNTIL THE LEVEL RETURNS TO 'MEDIUM' ***

The club is open for roll-ups on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with 3 rinks in use, and up to 6 players per rink. There are 3 daytime sessions with staggered start times of 10.00/10.15/10.30, 12.00/12.15/12.30 and 2.00/2.15/2.30, and on Mondays and Wednesdays, an evening session with staggered start times 6.30/6.45/7.00. Priority for the evening sessions will be given to those unable to bowl during the day.

There is also a Sunday morning session, start time 10.00/10.15/10.30 (depending on rink).

ADVANCE BOOKING IS REQUIRED and must be made in person or by TELEPHONE ONLY during opening hours (no voicemail/text/email) as you will be advised of when to arrive (not more than 15 minutes before the start time for the rink concerned).

The 'rule of six' applies whilst in the club - so players must not mingle with anyone not on the same rink, either during play or on arrival/departure.

Rink fees at all times have been temporarily increased to £3.00 per person per 2 hour session - please bring the correct money if at all possible.

Face coverings (visors/shields are NOT face coverings) must be worn AT ALL TIMES unless exempt, and a minimum of 1m social distancing must be maintained (2m where possible).

All policies and procedures are subject to continual review and will be amended for any changes to Government/EIBA guidance.

Noticeboard item -  CLUB REOPENING - 'RULE OF SIX' 24/09/2020

Following the Government's announcement on Tuesday that the 'rule of six' would now apply to indoor team sports, the EIBA issued a statement last night confirming that clubs following their Covid-19 Secure guidelines would be able to host multiple groups of (up to) six, provided that groups did not interact with each other.

From today, players on a particular rink MUST NOT mingle with players on other rinks, nor with any other people in the building who have just finished playing in the previous session, or have arrived to play in the next session.

The EIBA have also announced that all National competitions for 2020-21 have been cancelled. Similarly the LIBA have cancelled their county competitions for 2020-21.
